~ Wellness Wednesday Tip ~
Learning to say “no” helps with time management, stress control, and establishing boundaries.
When we stretch ourselves too thin, we commit to more than we can manage in a healthy manner.
The fear of disappointment, whether it be a co-worker, supervisor, parent, child, spouse, friend, or mentor, often makes saying “no” feel difficult.
However, when we can acknowledge our own limits, we can establish boundaries for what more we can take on.
If the plate is already full, pass on another serving no matter how tempting it may be. Avoid the mess that comes when the plate is too heavy or the imbalance is too large.
