Taking advice from our pets – Rest and Recharge!

As in many industries, the legal industry is fast-paced with no time to turn off. However, research shows that rest is absolutely vital to wellbeing.

Did you know that adult dogs sleep an average of 16 hours per day?! Wouldn’t that be great if we could all implement rest into our daily routines like our dogs?

A well-rested mind allows for sharp thinking, intentional focus, and enhanced productivity. This ties back to providing space for down time. Sleep is an essential element to a healthy immune system and is a large component of overall wellness.

A regularly and appropriately recovered nervous system enables emotional awareness allowing for better self-management. This in turn promotes calm, peaceful interactions even in the heated legal environment.
