Closing the Year with Clarity

A light-colored dog standing on granite rock, quietly looking across a calm alpine lake with pine trees and blue sky reflected in the water.

I have finally started to realize reflection offers an opportunity for clarity. Therefore, reflection is not indulgent. It’s strategic.

Before rushing into new goals, it helps to pause long enough to understand what the past year actually taught you.

Not what should have happened.
What did happen.

Reflection creates perspective. And perspective creates direction.

As this year closes, consider:

  • What supported me more than I realized?
  • What quietly drained me?
  • What values showed up consistently?
  • What no longer fits the season ahead?

You don’t need to judge the year or yourself.
You just need to understand it.

Carry forward what nourished you.
Release what required constant force.

Clarity doesn’t demand urgency.
It invites alignment.

Stay well,
Kel
